The 2000-2007 Impreza can suffer with fuel surge issues, particularly with repeated hard cornering, which becomes a real problem on track. This inherent design was overcome by Subaru on the Soec C model with a redesigned fuel pump assembly.

The housing keeps the sock submerged with fuel, maintaining a steady flow of fuel and preventing fueling issues. Whatsmore, the included STi Spec C fuel pump is a higher flowing type than the standard pump and is able to support more power.
