Spoon Sports Complete Blueprinted Engine, L15 for Honda Civic FK7

Spoon Sports builds this complete L15 engine by hand from new genuine Honda parts, refining the balance and clearances for a smooth, responsive engine.

Moving parts are balanced to within 0.02g per cylinder, and the engine is assembled in a temperature-controlled clean room for precise clearance management.

 

Key features

  • Deburred block and head: sharp edges and stray metal fragments removed.
  • Balanced moving parts: piston, pin and connecting rod balanced to within 0.02g per cylinder, a 0.002% variation against 0.2% on a stock Type R.
  • Construction: iron cylinder sleeves cast into the aluminium block, aluminium pistons, iron crankshaft, camshafts and valves.
  • Clean room assembly: temperature-controlled for precise clearance management.

Easy and straightforward to fit along as you’ve got the original arch liner clips as it screws into them. If the liner clips it screws into have broken like mine was, you can get some square Toyota arch liner clips on eBay that fit.
