In the design and development of the muffler, we considered the combination of each condition, and taking advantage of the characteristic that the higher the exhaust flow rate, the easier it is to muffle it, we decided to give the muffler near the engine a large muffler function, and to centralize the mass by placing the silencer in the center of the vehicle body. As a result, the rear silencer is small and lightweight, with a single outlet on one side, reducing the overhang weight and achieving good maneuverability by reducing yaw. Of course, we sought to improve the engine charging efficiency and improve the power performance, while also balancing the driving performance throughout the vehicle. We developed the muffler by combining construction methods and materials, and repeated testing, and the best muffler was completed. The exhaust sound is that Honda sound, and at high revolutions, it produces the pleasant sound unique to the V-TEC engine.
