Dixcel R01 is the thinking driver's race pad. Manufactured with a sintered-alloy-style process for extreme heat resistance and strength, its low thermal conductivity keeps heat in the pad face and away from your calipers, fluid and seals. Maximum attack, minimum collateral damage.

Product Features:

  • Effective temperature range: 200-900°C
  • Initial μ: 0.48
  • Average μ: 0.38 to 0.43
  • High-density graphite metallic friction material
  • Low thermal conductivity suppresses heat damage to surrounding brake components
  • Remarkably mild on disc rotors for a racing compound
  • Flat μ characteristics give the driver free control over pedal pressure

Who it's for: Race cars that cook calipers and boil fluid. If component temperature isn't your problem, RA Type or Specom Alpha may bite harder for less.

It has everything you need

The boss kit gets 5 stars purely for coming with a torx key and a little leverage bar for it, top tier thinking that. Boss was quite delayed however I was immediately informed of this and continuously updated until it was delivered so it was no issue for me.

Package arrived promptly and the new B pipe was well protected in bubble wrap inside the factory spoon packaging. The first thing i noticed was the quality of the welds, then the serialised Spoon plaque, and the genuine honda gasket and spring bolt kit which is included. Fitment was straight forward with the right tools, and the spoon piece aligned perfectly with the standard cat and Spoon N1 backbox. The noise i would describe as OEM++. No drone at motorway speeds but in the vtec band it has that raspy race note. Perfect for around town but still fun in the higher rev range when you want to hear your Honda scream.

I rate it 5/5 and would recommend as a replacement for those sadly corroding factory B pipes.
