The Eventuri Black Carbon Intake System for the BMW E39 M5, featuring the S62 engine, is engineered to optimize airflow and deliver tangible performance enhancements while integrating seamlessly with the vehicle's stock ECU mapping and MAF sensors. This system utilizes a unique design focused on maintaining the lowest possible inlet air temperature (IAT) and maximizing volumetric efficiency.
Each system is meticulously constructed, consisting of two Carbon Fibre Venturi housings, two high-flow Generation 2 Air Filters, and two aluminium cowls to ensure a smooth transition of airflow. A crucial element of the design is the inclusion of dedicated cold air feeds: two foglamp surrounds with integrated air ducts and two flexible Neoprene air ducting sections. These components work together with laser-cut aluminium shields and custom brackets to channel the coolest possible air directly into the intake, ensuring consistent and optimized performance gains.
