Transforming an S2000 with rare Amuse GT1 Body Kit

Transforming an S2000 with rare Amuse GT1 Body Kit - torquegt

At Torque Parts, we recently had the thrill of sourcing and supplying a Power House Amuse GT1 body kit for a Honda S2000!

If you spent hours glued to Gran Turismo growing up, you’ll definitely recognize the name Amuse—a Japanese tuning company known for crafting jaw-dropping parts for JDM legends.

The S2000 GT1 body kit? It's an absolute showstopper. Sourcing, supplying, and fitting this masterpiece for one of our loyal Torque GT customers, who’s been a regular through our Personal Import Service, was an incredibly exciting project to be part of.

The owner wanted to give their UK-spec S2000 a major makeover, transforming it into something truly next level. The kit arrived unpainted, so Torque Bodyworks was tasked with spraying it in a striking yellow, just as the owner envisioned.

Once the paint dried and the kit was fully fitted, it was time for the finishing touch. Over at Torque Detailing, the car received a ceramic coating treatment using Titan Coating’s PX10, giving it a flawless, glass-like shine.

This car will stop you in your tracks. Why? Because it takes everything people love about the Honda S2000 and dials it up to 11. The S2000, already a legend with its high-revving F20C engine, razor-sharp handling, and timeless styling, transforms into a whole new beast with the Amuse GT1 treatment.

The result? An aggressive, wide-bodied monster that looks ready to devour the track—and anything else that dares to get in its way.

There’s an undeniable air of exclusivity around the Amuse GT1. Amuse isn’t a mass-production outfit churning out body kits like fast food. No, they’re one of Japan’s most respected tuning companies. So when you see an Amuse GT1 cruising down the road, especially in the UK, it’s a rare sight that’ll have car enthusiasts scrambling for their phones to snap a picture.

But the owner of this particular GT1 didn’t stop at the body kit. Oh no, they went all out. Inside, there’s a set of Recaro bucket seats and a Momo steering wheel. The wheels? A fresh set of RAYS Volk Racing TE37SLs—because why settle for less than the best?

And the soundtrack? A TOMEI Expreme Ti Exhaust that, with the baffle removed, unleashes an absolutely wild scream.

Ripping down the road in this machine is a visceral experience that’s hard to match—it’s a pure nod to Japanese tuning culture at its finest.
