The Haltech Nexus Rebel JZ is a complete ECU and harness package built for a Toyota JZ engine swap, so you get the engine running with minimal wiring work.
The ECU is designed from the ground up for Toyota's JZ platform, and start-up runs through the Set-up Wizard in Haltech's NSP software. The kit comes with an easy-to-install harness that suits multiple Toyota JZ applications and integrates with Haltech dashes, PDMs, sensor kits and accessories. It supports 1JZ-GTE non-VVT-i, 1JZ-GE VVT-i, 1JZ-GTE VVT-i, 2JZ-GTE non-VVT-i, 2JZ-GE VVT-i and 2JZ-GTE VVT-i engines, manual transmissions only, and is supplied with a harness to suit the R154 transmission. The ignition harness is built for an R35 coil conversion; Haltech sells the conversion kit as a separate item, part number HT-120200. It does not support the Toyota Electronic Throttle Control System Intelligent (ETCS-i, semi DBW), distributor ignition systems, wasted spark ignition systems, low impedance injectors, sequential twin turbo setups, or the 1JZ OEM coolant temperature sensor.
