Haltech Nexus S2 Plug 'n' Play ECU and Adapter Harness Kit - Mazda MX5 NA

The Haltech Nexus S2 Plug 'n' Play Adapter Harness Kit (HT-212316) gives you a complete ECU upgrade for a Mazda MX-5 NA, using the factory ECU connectors so you avoid cutting or splicing the original harness.

Inside the ECU you get 4 x peak/hold injector drivers (also usable as low side drive outputs), 4 x low current ignition outputs (also usable as low side drive outputs), 6 x low side drive outputs (PWM capable, DPOs), 4 x push-pull/half bridge outputs (8A, PWM capable, for example for electronic throttle), 1 x ECR output, 11 x 0-5V analog inputs with redundancy for electronic throttle and switchable 5V pullup, trigger and home inputs with differential inputs, adjustable thresholds and glitch filters, and 6 x synchronous pulsed inputs (zero crossing or adjustable thresholds) for cam sensor inputs, frequency inputs or 0-5V analog inputs. An on-board wideband controller supports NTK and LSU 4.9 sensors, backed by an on-board 4 bar MAP sensor, 2 x CAN ports with switchable termination, and onboard data logging of up to 300 channels at sample rates up to 1ms (1kHz) with 128MB of internal memory. Please note: Does not support USDM OBD-II 96-97, Special Edition SE or Anniversary models. All manual transmission 1.6 litre variants require the factory throttle position sensor to be unplugged and removed, and a full-range throttle position sensor alternative fitted for correct operation. Failing to fit the alternative sensor causes erratic ECU behaviour at wide-open throttle and can damage the ECU. Using a Nexus S2 instead of a Nexus S3 reduces some of the car's factory functionality; refer to the quick start guide for details.
