The Haltech Nexus R5 VCU + LSx DBW Terminated Harness (HT-195405) pairs Haltech's flagship Vehicle Control Unit with a terminated harness built for LSx engines running drive-by-wire throttle, with power distribution module functionality built in.
The Nexus R5 provides 4 x 25A continuous push-pull PWM outputs (5kHz), 12 x 8A continuous high side outputs (200Hz PWM), 18 x peak/hold injector drivers, 12 x low current ignition outputs, 8 x low side PWM-capable DPOs and 4 x push-pull/h-bridge outputs (8A, PWM capable) for electronic throttle. It reads 23 x 0-5V analog inputs with redundancy and switchable 5V pullup, differential trigger and home inputs with adjustable thresholds and glitch filters, and 10 x synchronous pulsed inputs. Two onboard wideband controllers support NTK and LSU 4.9 sensors, three CAN ports offer switchable termination, and onboard logging captures up to 300 channels at rates up to 1ms (1kHz) with 512MB of internal memory. The terminated harness suits LSx engines with DBW and incorporates PDM functionality, fitted with EV6 primary injector plugs. It plugs into the OEM ignition sub-harness on the engine, which is required.
