The Haltech Nexus S2/S3 Plug 'n' Play adapter harness lets you fit a Haltech Nexus ECU using the vehicle's factory wiring loom, without cutting or splicing any of the original harness for the Mazda Miata (MX-5) NA.
The harness plugs straight into the factory connectors on one side and into the Haltech Nexus ECU on the other, and comes with a quick start guide that walks you through installation. It carries an M14 x 1.5 air temperature sensor with a matching plug and pins, plus an auxiliary I/O connector (16-pin Tyco) with pins for extra inputs and outputs. It fits the Mazda Miata (MX-5) NA 1.6-litre and 1.8-litre with a 2-plug, 2-row factory ECU, manual transmission only. It does not support the USDM OBDII 96-97, Special Edition SE, or Anniversary models.

Please note: on all manual transmission 1.6-litre variants, you must unplug and remove the factory throttle position sensor and fit a full-range throttle position sensor alternative for correct operation. Failure to do so results in erratic ECU behaviour at wide-open throttle and can damage the ECU.
