The Haltech IO 12 Expander Box B, part number HT-059905, adds 12 extra CAN based input and output channels to a compatible Haltech ECU and comes fitted with a 2.5m (8ft) flying lead harness.
As supplied, the unit is direct plug and play compatible with an Elite ECU CAN port, an Elite ECU harness CAN connector, or a multiple CAN device installation using an Elite 4 Port CAN HUB. To connect it to a Platinum Pro Plug-in, Sport or Sprint ECU, order a Haltech CAN Cable (8 pin black Tyco to 8 pin black Tyco) in a length to suit your installation. To connect it as part of a multiple CAN device installation using a Platinum 3 or 6 port CAN HUB, order a Haltech CAN Cable (8 pin white Tyco to 8 pin white Tyco). Cables are available from 75mm (3") to 3600mm (144"); check the product Quick Start Guide for the correct cable colour. The unit outputs 4 Digital Pulsed Outputs (DPO), 4 Digital Pulsed Inputs (DPI) and 4 Analogue Voltage Inputs (AVI). Combine two IO 12 Expanders with different CAN identifier IDs (Box A or B) for up to 24 additional channels, subject to ECU compatibility.
