The Haltech Platinum PRO Direct Plug-in ECU Kit, part number HT-055050, replaces the factory ECU in a Honda S2000 AP1 or AP2 that still runs its original engine and wiring, so you unplug the OEM unit, plug in the Haltech ECU and load a base map.
The kit uses the car's factory sensors. The software runs on Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7 and 10, and you get real time programming with hesitation free adjustment while the engine runs. Mapping is fully user definable at 32 x 32, tuned via Volumetric Efficiency (VE), injection time or Lambda Correction (MAF). The onboard MAP sensor selects up to 150kPa (1.5 Bar or 22psi boost), and wideband auto tuning runs from a user definable target AFR table. The kit suits Honda S2000 AP1 (00-04) and AP2 (05) models with a non DBW throttle and manual transmission only, and a CAN I/O12 Expander Box is required to accept an input from a flex fuel sensor.
