The Haltech Platinum PRO Direct Plug-in ECU Kit, part number HT-055016, replaces the factory ECU in a Nissan Z33 350Z that still runs its original engine and wiring, so you unplug the OEM unit, plug in the Haltech ECU and load a base map.
The kit uses the car's factory sensors and supports sequential injection (peak and hold) and direct fire ignition. You get real time programming with hesitation free adjustment while the engine runs, and fully user definable 32 x 32 mapping tuned via Volumetric Efficiency (VE), injection time or Lambda Correction (MAF). The onboard MAP sensor selects up to 150kPa (1.5 Bar or 22psi boost), and the ECU stores OBD II codes with Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) control through a laptop. Wideband auto tuning runs from a user definable target AFR table, and the ECU accepts an input from a flex fuel sensor directly. The software runs on Windows 2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7, and communication uses USB and CAN ports. The kit suits manual transmission Nissan Z33 350Z models only, and does not suit HR dual throttle models.
