The system features sealed filter housings, crucial for maintaining consistently low Intake Air Temperatures (IATs), even during stationary periods. By utilizing two Carbon Fiber Venturi Housings with integrated tubes, the design ensures a smooth, laminar transition of air from the high-flow Generation 2 filters into the intake tract. This laminar flow, combined with larger inlet tube volume, minimizes drag and allows the turbos to operate with greater efficiency. The inclusion of large front scoops forces ambient air directly into the system, contributing to optimal thermal management.
The increase in cross-sectional area between the Eventuri intake tube and the stock airbox tube is approximately 31% (Stock Airbox Tube = 6487mm² vs. Eventuri Intake Tube = 8497mm² at the strut brace), allowing for a substantial increase in maximum flow rate per airbox from 620 CFM (Stock) to 736 CFM (Eventuri) at 28″ H2O.
