The Subaru Impreza WRX STi Sport Wagon is a JDM only variant and now a very rare site. In the UK the hottest version of the ‘Bugeye’ Sport Wagon available was a WRX model.
Japan’s even hotter version adopting those three iconic pink letters ‘STi’ takes everything up a notch… The 'Bugeye' WRX STi Sport Wagon was the last generaton to be produced from the Subaru factory.
In the showroom we have this completely original Subaru Impreza WRX STi Sport Wagon (Version 7), finished in silver. This example has covered a fantastically low 33,953 miles since 2001.
A massive benefit of this generation Impreza is the engine… Coming with the EJ207 semi closed deck engine block with forged pistons from the factory, it is considered by many to be the strongest of all the EJ series engines.
Other features include large ported cylinder heads to allow better flow and throttle response, 6 speed manual STi gearbox, VF30 turbo charger, R180 larger drive shafts, R180 Rear differential, 4 pot Subaru front brake callipers and 2 pot rear Subaru brake callipers. Standard power is rated at 280bhp.
