Discreet on the outside but packing a turbocharged 2.5 litre flat four producing 260bhp as standard, it is the definition of a wolf in sheep's clothing. A seriously practical estate with the pace and the soundtrack to back it up.

Recently acquired at auction and confirmed at grade 3.5, this 2007 Subaru Forester STi has covered 71,230 miles and presents in Black Pearl. Built around the legendary Impreza running gear, it uses Subaru's rally derived AWD system with a rear bias and a limited slip diff out back, which means it will take on just about anything you point it at while serving up that unmistakable flat four soundtrack.

Power comes from the EJ25 turbocharged engine paired with the brilliant 6 speed manual gearbox, a combination that makes the Forester equally happy cruising the motorway off boost as it is monstering a poor quality B road. It is a genuine do it all car and one we have a real soft spot for.

This example also benefits from a few upgrades, including Tein EDFC coilovers, a Cusco rear strut bar and an aftermarket anti roll bar, sharpening up the handling without taking anything away from the everyday usability.

As an unofficial import that never made it to UK showrooms, the Forester STi is a rare sight on these shores and a smart buy for anyone after serious space and serious pace in one discreet package.

The coolest honda box

A very high quality product for storing all your little bits in the car that have been hanging loose. Easy to put together from folded and it has a locking system on the lid so it'll never come open. I'll be using it for my display bits I show in the car at shows also my Japanese plates.

It has everything you need

The boss kit gets 5 stars purely for coming with a torx key and a little leverage bar for it, top tier thinking that. Boss was quite delayed however I was immediately informed of this and continuously updated until it was delivered so it was no issue for me.
