The legendary RB26 engine first appeared in the ground-breaking R32 GT-R. Fast forward a decade and Nissan delivered the R34, keeping the same core ingredients that made the GT-R iconic: the ATTESA E-TS four-wheel-drive system, HICAS four-wheel steering, and of course the RB26 up front.
Just like with the R32 and R33, the V-Spec variants were a step above the standard GT-R. They came with a more advanced AWD system that included an active rear LSD, stiffer suspension, and a few subtle aerodynamic tweaks.
By 2000, Nissan introduced the R34 V-Spec II with bigger brakes and a carbon bonnet with a NACA duct. Then, right at the end of R34 GT-R production in 2002, they launched the ultimate version: the GT-R V-Spec II Nür.
Nissan built just 1,003 Nürs in total: 285 M-Spec Nürs, which were the more comfort-focused version, and 718 V-Spec Nürs like this one, aimed more at track performance. Both came with the special RB26 N1 engine originally developed for competition use, featuring a thick-wall block, strengthened pistons, rods and crankshaft, plus upgraded turbos.
Inside, the Nür models stood out with unique stitching, a 300 km/h speedo, and gold valve covers instead of the usual red. We’re lucky enough to own our own R34 GT-R V-Spec II Nür, one of only 156 cars finished in Millennium Jade (JW0), a colour that’s become synonymous with this legendary model.
100% recommend for storing small items in on 5 boxes now and once a few more arrive in stock will order another 2/3! It’s an addiction.
Pure quality product great little storage boxes I use them to store my collection of hot wheels cars, if they made a bigger one like a 50litre that’s would be epic I highly recommend these.
Almost built a spoon parts fn2 so thought a little sticker would be great just unsure if to place in the rear window or the boot lid itself.
Really brings the vtec crossover to the music party really sounds nice just perfect for myself, never took a photo of it fitting so gutted but an easy fit and you get the oem Honda gaskets ect with the product.
Cool little touch to any engine bay! Fast delivery and decent quality product.
Spoon so had to have it to match the rest of the build! And needed d for track!
If you’re obsessed with anything from Japan this little parts tray is simply pleasing! It’s brilliant and perfectly sized.
Fast delivery and nicely packaged. Thanks
Fast delivery as you expect from a top class distributor and like torque gt and spoon sports quality speaks for itself.
I have a 2025 FL5 and wanted to hear the turbo sounds more, but didn’t want to mess up my warranty, or having insurance issues fitting a carbon airbox or induction kit. This just fits in really easily in a couple of minutes, anyone could do it and really makes a difference! Turn the engine sounds into the comfort setting and away you go! You can now really hear the turbo building up pressure and then dumping it when you lift off. Even more so with the windows open a bit. It’s quite entertaining!
Easy enough to fit. Just got to measure up for the access holes you have to cut with a 80mm whole cutter attachment for a drill. Then the stands go in and patiently get the bolts back on. Then tighten with a 14mm ratchet. Then place the bar in and done. I Google translated the instructions. Image on this review.
Exactly what I ordered and great customer communication on the expected wait.
Arrived quite fast and as described, good service from torquegt
Team were super especially Matt, when order went sideways due to an issue of my making Matt was really helpful and patient in responding and resolving. Love the wheels!
An inexpensive but important modification to do if you want to get your S2000 geometry set up properly. Easy to fit, great quality from Spoon as always.
