We're bringing a Honda S2000 into the showroom wearing a genuine Power House Amuse GT1 body kit, one of the rarest widebody conversions to leave Japan. If the name Amuse rings a bell it's more likely from hours spent on Gran Turismo than from anything you've seen on the road.

Finished in Mazda Sunburst Yellow and protected with a PX10 ceramic coating the aesthetic is completed with a custom dry carbon bonnet, the Honda factory hardtop, ASM wing mirrors and a custom dry carbon rear wing on carbon struts. A full LED bulb conversion also modernises this s2k and furthers its 'racer' appearance.

Inside is mostly standard, now fitted with factory seats and the original steering wheel left in place. The only touches are a Spoon Sports rear view mirror and an ASM shifter boot. The car sits on a set of RAYS Volk Racing TE37SLs and runs a Tomei Expreme Ti exhaust for a soundtrack that matches the looks.

Handling has been sorted with Tein Flex Z coilovers, alongside Nagisa Auto front fender braces and Advan AD09 tyres, with a Cusco brake cylinder stopper, a CS Ohara solid steering shaft spacer and a Hel braided clutch line rounding out a chassis built to match the widebody stance rather than just look the part.

A lightweight flywheel and Spoon 4.44 final drive sharpens its response, while J's Racing drive shaft spacers, a Tomei titanium decat pipe and Tomei titanium cat back complete the exhaust setup.

This 1999 AP1 also benefits from being in the lower flat rate bracket.

Nice upgrade!

I have a 2025 FL5 and wanted to hear the turbo sounds more, but didn’t want to mess up my warranty, or having insurance issues fitting a carbon airbox or induction kit. This just fits in really easily in a couple of minutes, anyone could do it and really makes a difference! Turn the engine sounds into the comfort setting and away you go! You can now really hear the turbo building up pressure and then dumping it when you lift off. Even more so with the windows open a bit. It’s quite entertaining!

Easy enough to fit. Just got to measure up for the access holes you have to cut with a 80mm whole cutter attachment for a drill. Then the stands go in and patiently get the bolts back on. Then tighten with a 14mm ratchet. Then place the bar in and done. I Google translated the instructions. Image on this review.
