The successor to the DC2 Integra Type R, the DC5 had a lot to live up to... Luckily it didn't disappoint on release and over two decades on, is still a fantastic drivers car.

We've imported hundreds of DC5's from Japan, so we know a thing or two about this fantastic model. Leaving the factory with the superb K20A engine and limited slip differential, this is a car everyone should drive if they get the opportunity.

This 2003 pre facelift Honda DC5 Integra Type R is finished in silver and with 55,300 miles on the clock it presents as a great example. Freshly imported from Japan with a Grade 4 auction rating, it has a handful of choice modifications to compliment its character.

This example remains clean and well presented, with a selection of sensible aftermarket upgrades fitted, some of its standout features include:

It has everything you need

The boss kit gets 5 stars purely for coming with a torx key and a little leverage bar for it, top tier thinking that. Boss was quite delayed however I was immediately informed of this and continuously updated until it was delivered so it was no issue for me.

Package arrived promptly and the new B pipe was well protected in bubble wrap inside the factory spoon packaging. The first thing i noticed was the quality of the welds, then the serialised Spoon plaque, and the genuine honda gasket and spring bolt kit which is included. Fitment was straight forward with the right tools, and the spoon piece aligned perfectly with the standard cat and Spoon N1 backbox. The noise i would describe as OEM++. No drone at motorway speeds but in the vtec band it has that raspy race note. Perfect for around town but still fun in the higher rev range when you want to hear your Honda scream.

I rate it 5/5 and would recommend as a replacement for those sadly corroding factory B pipes.
