Launched at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1995, the 2.0 F20C naturally aspirated engine stunned the world. Its high revving VTEC system helped produce 237bhp, making it the most powerful factory produced naturally aspirated four cylinder of its time. Achieving 0 to 60 in just 6.2 seconds and on to a screaming 150mph, it took mainstream naturally aspirated technology to a new level. Pair this wonderful engine with an equally brilliant six speed gearbox and you have a superb combination that still wows every time.

Officially going on sale in 1999, with production sadly ending in 2009, the S2000 won the hearts of the world’s motoring press from day one, picking up prestigious awards throughout every year of production.
